How to obtain bags

Before collecting your samples, you must have the bags from the Agricultural Analysis Laboratory, or an airtight bag with a capacity of about 3 litres.

You can pick them up at the laboratory, located at 79, Côté Street, in Notre-Dame-du-Nord. Our hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Collect sample

Sampling is a very delicate step which can have a direct influence on the results of the analysis. If the sampling is not carried out according to the instructions, the analysed sample may not represent the whole lot.

You need to fill the bag with about 2 liters of forage.

Send sample

There are 2 ways to send your sample to the Agricultural Analysis Laboratory.

1. In person
   Bring your sample directly to the laboratory, located at the following address:
   UQAT Agricultural Anylysis Laboratory
   79, Côté Street
   Notre-Dame-du-Nord, QC J0Z 3B0
2. By mail (priority mail)
   Mail your sample to the address given above.
   Samples should be sent by priority mail to avoid degradation.
   Samples can be sent Monday through Wednesday inclusive. Never send a sample on Thursday, Friday or over the weekend to avoid sample degradation.
   It is recommended to send samples frozen for better results.
